Simply put, it is the act of raising your child or children in such a manner as to function normal in society. How plain and boring is that for a definition?
When my daughter was born six years ago (feels like she has always been here, like life didn’t exist before her) I would joke with family and friends that I was going to use a new technique to raise her. I called it parenting.
